Nowadays, quantified motion analysis is a recognized activity in clinical, ergonomic and sports applications. Among the different body segments, the foot is one of the most complex to analyze with its high number of bones, joints and ligaments. Motion analysis systems with skin markers coupled with force platforms are the most commonly used. Ideally, these systems should be « non-invasive, generate nearly instantaneous feedback to the clinician and subject, be mobile, easy to use and relatively inexpensive ». Regarding the last points, current systems are limited.

The new tele lenses TL80 and TL80 for recording with LuxCam500 high speed camera are now available. They highlight by an apo-chromatically corrected lens combined to fluorite lenses which allow for an extremely high light transmission, highest image resolution and 100% color rendition.

The new mobile X-Y-Z Positioning system is build in a modular manner and can be easily disassembled to transport it to different locations and is fully computer controlled.

The Low Cost Force Lab software uses the Nintendo Wii Balance Board as a measurement device which acts as an inexpensive force plate. The Low Cost Force Lab is capable of generating smooth 100Hz signals in good quality for movements and gait tasks.

The Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage KIK-IRPA in Brussels now uses an NIR-600 high resolution InGaAs camera for performing its infrared reflectography imaging in order to better visualize under drawings of old masters. The camera highlights by its very sharp images, a high depth of field and its easy handling.

News:  STROB20 !

High Power LED Stroboscope STROB20 is now available.

STROB20 is our newest cold light source to support and increase the sharpness of video and high speed camera recordings. The stroboscope highlights through his very high light intensity and is integrated in a compact housing.

The video motion kit is based on a CCD camera with a resolution of 656 x 494 pixels at 140 full frames per second. The camera system is available in a color or monochrome version.
